So excited!! Land cut started

We went to our land and looked at our neighbors' houses going up.

Families, friends and work mates continuously asking about how was the house, but I kept correcting them, it was a dirt.

I kept looking at the plan, pulling out retractable measurement tapes (my husband kept asking what was I doing...), dreaming about how it will looks like and digging up home decoration photos from Pinterest.

We are so glad, they finally cut our land!!

I wanted to do my happy dance on it. Believe me, if I can walk on the compacted land, I would no doubt doing so. But my husband was watching, so I stayed cool and calm. Surely, I must looked like a three years old kid staring at the lollies jar, making sure he was not looking and reading my mind. (Oh, I mean stones on our future driveway, not lollies).

We had waited for about seven months after our land was settled in mid June 2014. In these seven months, we had go through:
  1. changed our minds on home designs within Plantation's fabulous designs
  2. went to all Plantation appointments, including the information session in Cosham Studio, extra visit to the studio and Beaumont Tiles, initial appointment, color appointment, tender appointment, electrical appointment with MyHome Consultant.
  3. uncountable numbers of document signing, emails and phone calls conversations
  4. redo land survey due to the missing land boundary pegs
  5. sorting out retain wall with neighbor
  6. bank appointments
  7. Christmas and New Year holidays - trades have about a month off during that period.
  8. sorting out home address with council
Before land cut:
Land as at 13th Jul 2014 - rear view of the land
Land as at 13th Jul 2014 - front view of the land
Land as at 13th Dec 2014
After land cut:

Land as at 2nd Feb 2015 - The "lollies" that I was talking about on the future driveway.
Land as at 2nd Feb 2015 - Filled up with more dirt
Land as at 2nd Feb 2015 - retain wall will go along our neighbor's house

    1. Than you! We will have more to come. Will be busy in the next 6 months, then at least 3 months to move and settle.
